Sats & Sense is free to read because some outbound links are affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works, and the firm line we hold: a commission never changes what we recommend.

Some links to exchanges, on-ramps and wallet makers are affiliate links. If you follow one and open an account or make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link on the site is routed through a /go/ redirect and marked as sponsored, so it is clear which links are which. We disclose them inline near where they appear, as well as here.

The line we hold

A commission never buys a recommendation, a ranking or a kind word. We deliberately recommend options that pay us nothing when they are the honest answer — Bitstamp among exchanges, and self-custody software wallets such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet and Exodus, none of which run an affiliate programme we use. If a paid option and an unpaid option are both good, we say so; if the unpaid one is better for you, we say that too.

What we won't promote

We only link mainstream, reputable, regulated services. We will not promote presale tokens, meme coins, “1000x” schemes, fixed-high-yield products, unregistered securities or anything gambling-adjacent, no matter what commission is on offer. Those products are how people lose money, and no payout is worth pointing you at them.
