Privacy policy

What we collect

This is a static website. We do not run accounts, and we do not ask you to submit personal or financial information to read our guides. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are popular and improve the content; the section below details what it records. Any newsletter signup, if enabled, collects only the email address you choose to give and is used only to send the updates you asked for.

Google Analytics and cookies

Sats & Sense uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd. It measures the pages viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate location (city or country level), your device and browser type, and session timing. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We keep its advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation off, so the data is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Google Analytics stores two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, for up to two years. They are set only after analytics is allowed.

Visitors in Europe — the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, as shown by the time zone a device reports — are asked first in a banner, and nothing is sent to Google unless they click Accept. Visitors elsewhere have analytics on by default and can switch it off at any time. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are treated as opted out. The choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key analytics-consent, not in a cookie. To revisit it, change your analytics choice and the banner reopens. Affiliate links and third parties

Some outbound links are affiliate links that pass through a redirect. When you follow one, the partner (for example an exchange, on-ramp or wallet maker) may record that the visit came from us and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, which you should read. We explain how these links work in our affiliate disclosure. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your choices

You can browse with cookies disabled, switch analytics off, and use your browser's privacy controls at any time. If you subscribed to updates, every email includes an unsubscribe link. For any question about your data, or to ask us to delete an email address we hold, contact us. This policy may be updated from time to time; it was last updated on October 9, 2026.
